ICTA Launches Second Cohort of International Cinema Technology Mentoring Programme at CineEurope

At this year’s CineEurope, ICTA proudly welcomed the second cohort of its International Cinema Technology Mentoring Programme. The global initiative brings together 14 passionate professionals — mentees and mentors — from cities as far apart as Ho Chi Minh City, Düsseldorf, London, and San Francisco.

This 12-month programme connects emerging and mid-career talent working in cinema technology and operations with seasoned industry leaders. Through dedicated one-on-one mentoring, participants receive personalized guidance on career development, skills building, and navigating the evolving landscape of cinema — whether they’re based in manufacturing, exhibition, distribution, or service provision.

The gathering in Barcelona also marked the successful conclusion of ICTA’s pilot cohort. Graduates shared reflections on their mentoring journeys, offering valuable insights and lessons learned. Their message was clear: mentoring not only accelerates professional growth, it also makes working in cinema more meaningful — and more fun.
