Congratulations to this Year’s Rodney and Teddy Award Winners

Each year at the annual convention of the International Cinema Technology Association two awards are presented that highlight two members of the association that excel in their field and are recognized and voted on by their fellow members. The categories are for best Manufacturer and Best Dealer.

The Rodney Award was created to recognize the outstanding ICTA Dealer. The criterion for selection is: the dealer should be aggressive in marketing and sales; should maintain an adequate inventory for their customers; provide quality installation; provide quality after sales service and should have a good product and application knowledge. The prestigious honor for 2023 goes to Integrity Entertainment Systems.

Integrity, based in Niskayuna, New York, is a full-service company established in 2002. They are a leader in digital 3D with over 500 systems deployed nationwide. Integrity also covers 35 and everything in between. Integrity is a proud member of the ICTA.

This honor was presented at the 2024 ICTA Annual Convention in Newport Beach, California on July 24, 2024. On hand to accept the award on behalf of Integrity, was Sam Lansing (pictured with Frank Tees and Mark Mayfield).

The Teddy Award is presented by the active Dealer membership of the ICTA to the ICTA Manufacturer who most closely exemplifies the progressive principals of product development and provides the dealers with service and up-to-date technical and sales information while supporting the status of their product without qualification. This prestigious honor for 2023 goes to Irwin Seating.

Irwin Seating Company was founded in Grand Rapids, Michigan back in 1907 under the name Steel Furniture Company. Its five initial investors included three Irwin brothers. During the early years, the company manufactured and sold theatre seating and classroom furniture. Today their seating products can be found in a wide variety of venues. From smaller screening rooms to large multi-plex cinemas, a rural elementary school’s gymnasium to an NBA arena. Irwin is a proud member of the ICTA.
