About

Strong Technical Services’ roots began with its creation as a service provider of sound reproducers for film projectors in the 1930’s which was operated by RCA and owned by GE. In 2006 the business was renamed Strong Technical Services and was a division of Ballantyne Strong, a company which had an extensive history in the cinema industry. In 2023 the business evolved to become part of STRONG Global Entertainment, a leader in the global entertainment industry. Today Strong Technical Services (STS) sales, engineering and service leverage its heritage to offer customers unmatched solutions. STS is headquartered in Omaha, NE, employing more than 100 people. The team includes a 24×7 support center and nationwide field service technician team. Our leadership and sales teams are pictured below with a map of our current U.S. coverage.
