A Family Affair in Milwaukee

Join us in Milwaukee beginning Sunday, July 12th for three days of enjoying educational sessions, networking opportunities, and a little sightseeing! Event highlights include group dinners at Moe’s Steakhouse, DOC’s Commerce Smokehouse, and an evening at the Bavarian Beer Hall with The Traveling Cinema Thugs on Tuesday, July 14th.

Guests are also encouraged to stay for the Variety of Wisconsin Annual Golf Tournament on Wednesday, July 15th (separate registration required).

The 2026 ICTA Summer Convention in Milwaukee offers a robust schedule blending advanced technical seminars with unique local experiences. Sunday, July 12: Arrivals and Welcome

The convention begins with arrivals and registration at the headquarters hotel, Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel, where attendees can pick up their badges and convention materials from 2-5pm.

Monday & Tuesday Breakfast
Join us for breakfast at The Studio Kitchen & Cocktails, located in Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel. Breakfast is served 6:30–10:30 a.m. Please wear your name tag and ask your server to charge your breakfast to the ICTA Group tab.

Educational Sessions will be at the Miller High Life Theatre – within walking distance of event hotels. We will be using the BACK ENTRANCE, arrive at the following address: 535 W. State Street

Monday, July 13: Technical Foundations and Espionage

Monday focuses on foundational technical updates and immersive audio-visual technologies, balanced with some of Milwaukee’s most unique dining experiences.

Spouses & Guests: Meet in the St.Kate Lobby by 9:30am to depart to Cedarburg where you’ll enjoy shopping & wine tasting, Lunch at Creme and Crepe Café, and a 2pm Milwaukee River Cruise at Paddle Tavern. You’ll return to the hotel to enjoy Pre-Dinner cocktails with the larger group. Your host will be Anne Sampson: (818) 314-3394.

Tuesday, July 14: Operations, Icons, and Rock & Roll

Tuesday morning shifts the focus to operational efficiency and industry collaboration, followed by an afternoon celebrating American engineering and an evening of authentic German hospitality and live music.

Spouses & Guests: Meet in the St.Kate lobby by 10am for a Scavenger Hunt of Downtown Milwaukee, exploring downtown’s main points of interest. You’ll return in time to join the larger group for Lunch and the Harley Davidson Museum.

Wednesday, July 15: Giving Back

The convention officially concludes on Wednesday with a focus on charity and community. Registration for this event is available through Variety of Wisconsin.
